Looking to glow from head to toe this New Years?
With many social occasions and wonderful excuses to glam up during the holiday season, it's important to start prepping your skin early. Before you start planning your looks, check out what our spa trainers recommend for you to prep your skin, hair and body this festive season.
1. CLEANSE
Start with a creamy cleanser that not only purifies and deeps cleanses the skin but also leaves the skin feeling hydrated. We recommend our Clay cleanser with Sandalwood, as it leaves the skin feeling fresh, clean and ready for the skincare application before makeup. What is delightful about our Clay Cleanser with Sandalwood is that it helps calm the heat in skins that suffers from psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema.
Ingredients: This cleanser contains some powerful natural ingredients. Sandalwood helps nourish the skin, improve the elasticity of skin cells and even out skin tone. White argiletz clay is the gentle clay of all the clays, which helps to purify and deep cleanse the skin and also jojoba oil, which is the closest ingredient to our own natural sebum!
2. Prep
Our Clean Skin Cleanser and Shaving Emulsion is the perfect skin prep for both Men and Women who shave their body and/or face! This dual-action cleanser can be used for a deep cleanse and then acts as a gentle shaving emulsion, softening stubble and preparing the skin for a comfortable shave.
Ingredients: Cedarwood is a wonderful antiseptic, whilst lime is perfect for our oily or combination skin types. We have also included white argiletz clay in this cleanser for the same gentle cleansing qualities as our Clay Cleanser with Sandalwood.
3. Exfoliate
When prepping the skin for the new year we couldn't miss our Enzyme Face Polish. This triple-action exfoliator is in our top 10 best-selling products and we think there is a good chance you'll fall in love with the gentle exfoliation and instant glow! This is the perfect base for the eye mask application (step 5).
How to apply? Work it on the skin for 2 mins then wait for another 2 - 3 minutes. This allows for the pomegranate enzymes to work their magic by dissolving the old cells from the new cells. Leaving the skin looking oh so bright!
Ingredients: We've included the aromatic sweet orange not only for the spa aroma but the powerful brightening properties. You'll also find geranium which can be considered the almighty skin balancer.

4. Mist

5. Moisturise
If you're after something a little more lightweight for the warmer weather our Sleek Moisturiser is a beautiful light face cream that penetrates quickly, leaving no oily residue only protection for your skin!
Although it is part our Mankind Collection, this moisturiser is also suitable for women, in fact a few of our wonderful Sodashi female team members prefer to use this in their morning routine.
Ingredients: Again we have included the much loved Sandalwood, for it's calming and soothing benefits. This moisturiser also contains Frankincense which is renown for it's super age management properties.
6. Boost
Give your skin a boost of hydration with our Rejuvenating Skin Boost. This leave-on gel hydrates, tones and repairs the signs of ageing to give a flawless finish for under makeup!
We love this product especially as it enhances absorption of the products that follow!
Ingredients: The precious Frankincense has incredible rejuvenating and toning properties that makes it excellent for aging or mature skin. We also included Carrot Seed to revitalise the skin and target hyper-pigmentation, whist Damask Rose for it's skin stimulation and ability to heighten blood flow.
7. Nourish the lips & eyes
Due to the oh so delicate skin around these two areas we like to put a little more TLC into our eye and lip areas. Our Eye Mask is perfect for hydrating under the eyes, along the brow bone and can even be placed along the lips to help smooth over fine lines and wrinkles.
Ingredients: Thanks to the rejuvenating and uplifting Gotu Kola this eye mask helps with the collagen/elastin production around your eyes and lips. We've also included the aromatic Chamomile for it's excellent anti-inflammatory properties, that help heal dry, flaky or itchy skin.
8. Body
For the ultimate body glow from head to toe we recommend exfoliating and following with one of our luxe body oils. For exfoliation start with our botanical Jojoba Bead Body Polish. Gentle and aromatic, this exfoliator is great for preparation to tan and it's also safe for our pregnant mama's to enjoy.
Ingredients: For the ultimate relaxation we've included the ultra-calming Ylang Ylang and of course the natural jojoba beads, which are a gentle exfoliant for skin. These beads are made from the wax of the Jojoba oil. Jojoba beads are natural, biodegradable, eco-friendly and do not have a negative effect on the environment.
